    I asked them to replace 3 skylights for me on July 17th received a quote on the 18th. I paid *** of the price ** ********. They sent me an email on the 19th confirming that they received the skylights in stock but meanwhile I was waiting for the roofing company to check the roof for me just in case I have a bigger problem then just the skylight. By the 25th of July Allied Glass could not get the job done so I asked the roofing company to fix the roof and the glass at the same time * **** *** *********** *** **** ************* so I asked Allied glass to cancel the deal. We kept going back and forth regarding the restocking fee. Finally, they decided to charge me ******* labour and GST, ******* for shipping and ******* for the restocking fee. They refused to cancel my credit card and said they will mail me the cheque for the balance. I received the cheque today **** *** for the balance. When I asked for an invoice for my taxes, they provided me with a cash register slip with no details of the amount that they deducted.

    Customer purchased and paid for 3 skylights. Order to supplier was placed and received.
    Customer decided to cancel after order was received after they purchased a second set of skylights from a different supplier without checking costs or status with us first.
    Our supplier required restocking charges and shipping.
    These amounts and labour spent to repair their skylights were already deducted from refund to customer and balance was returned.
    ******** *** **** ********* ******** ** **** **** ** **** ****** They made a mistake and wanted our company to pay.
    We did our best to minimize their cost in a situation that was completely their fault. We could have refused to refund anything and insist they keep their custom order and we would have been in the right. Instead, we get abuse for helping.
