  stopped by in person from an online add. requested quote for *** player with navigational maps and bluetooth connection installed in my 2008 f350. The owner ***** picked a unit from the shelf and said it had everything in it that I requested. The next day for appointment install I had asked his daughter who was on the front counter if they could hook up the *** player so it would play anytime. This would bypass the driving safety feature. she stated they were not allowed to do that so i agreed to do it myself at another time. So this was a good indication before the appointment started that they were installing a *** player. Picked up the truck late in the day and was getting up at 3am the next morning for the long journey home to terrace bc. 15hrs. After I got settled in at home I started to explore my new unit. I realized after investigation there was no provision to install a ***. I called ***** and he admitted the mistake they made. He did offer a resolution but i would have to come back. So after time went by the unit started acting up. apple car play would just disconnect for no reason which it still does. Then the back up camera stopped working completely and is basically intermittent. I took the unit out and checked everything they did as i am a mechanic of 50 years. The hook *** through out the install were all correct but terribly done, Wires under the truck were hanging down and I was shocked they didn't catch on something and just rip out. They left a major live wire under the dash from the first stereo that almost caused a fire! Proper installers would have removed that wire or made it at least safe! One wire was even wrapped around the glove box hinge! I just couldn't believe it! Anyway I've been asking for the replacement back up camera for months and they keep saying we'll send it. But nothing. I also feel because I was quoted 1200 dollars for a *** player installed. That's what i should have now. They say now that that's more money! Not right!

  All our product installs come with a lifetime limited warranty for as long as you own your vehicle.
  
  
  This warranty covers installed products & workmanship.
  
  
  In the event of a product malfunction or an error in workmanship, Okanagan Car Audio will diagnose and make all repairs, at no cost to you.
  
  
  This warranty is immediately VOID if there is a misuse of the installed product, you try to fix the problem yourself, or have someone other than Okanagan Car Audio repair  

  you mentioned that you had tried to take the unit out yourself, which then voids the warranty. My apologies we couldnt be of more assistance.
