Women, stay away from MoveIt.YVR. This is a safety warning, not just a negative review. Ask yourself: do you want to entrust your safety, or your personal belongings, to a man fired from law enforcement for misconduct?**** ******, the man behind this company, is a former West Vancouver police officer who was fired for disciplinary reasons. After my experience, its disturbingly clear ****** May 2025, I hired MoveIt.*** for what should have been a simple move. Instead, it became a terrifying ordeal. At first, halfway through the job, his team walked off with my belongings (by his order), without my consent, and then went completely silent. I was left in the dark for hours, unsure where my things were or whether Id see them ******** addition, I had paid **** ****** over $300 for secure, private storage unit at Maple Leaf Storage for two weeks. I later discovered my possessions were never stored properly at all; they were left unsecured in the back of his truck. Upon confronting him at the storage facility, he became aggressive, trying to open my sealed boxes without permission and ultimately physically shoving me inside the truck. Due to a reasonable fear for my personal safety, I was compelled to contact emergency services. This incident has been duly documented in an official police report. This was not a simple case of bad service. This was deceptive, unsafe, and physically intimidating. No woman should ever have to fear for her safety when hiring a moving company. For your peace of mind and personal safety, avoid MoveIt.*** at all costs. We deserve better and safer services.***As a former assistant to the duty counsel office at the *************, I advise you to give greater weight to negative reviews (when checking for ****** or Yelp reviews), as many positive ones are frequently posted by friends or affiliates rather than genuine customers.
