      I had requested a quote from Spearhead Plumbing for 1. Fireplace and Furnace Maintenance 2. Replace my Hot water Tank sometime in Aug 2023.I was sent over two quotes to do that and I accepted both.I was emailed two Signature requests via ********* for credit authorization for $1,300 and $2,500, one for the Maintenance and the other for the Hot Water Tank replacement. Attached here.The maintenance was completed and paid for $406.25 The Hot Water Tank installed was delayed till Dec 11, 2023 due to questions about the Tank, vacation and Spearhead dropping the ball (I had to call them twice to remind them of the project)Spearhead finally installed the Hot Water Tank on Dec 11, 2023 and I was completely shocked with their Invoice of $3,902.06. I have been communicating with ************************* about this. I had asked her twice to produce the original quote (I can't find mine) and the signature request via ********* for $2,500. She tells me that the Signature request for credit card authorization is not proof as the quote and since I cannot provide the quote as proof, they have charged me the $3,902.06. I think the pre credit card authorization strongly suggests otherwise. This usually protects businesses from not getting paid, and why would they ask for $2,500 authorization if a hot water tank would cost about $4,000? I recently had a hot water tank replaced in ********* for $2,000.I read in one of their ****** overcharge reviews (from ******) that "all our calls are recorded". And they don't have my quote?I need BBB to help me get the original quote from Spearhead Plumbing and when I get it, I need help from BBB to get Spearhead to honour that quote (even though the work done is past 90 days from the quote, through no fault of mine).I had etransfered $2,100 to them in good faith hoping they will find the quote of under $2,200 but they charged my **** and additional $1,858.82.I need HELP to get them to turn over the original quote and honour the quote.
