    I had a pair of winter boots re-soled and re-heeled with this shoe repair shop in White Rock BC. Within a couple of weeks one of the soles came unglued and took it back to be re-glued. The owner did take care of this. A week later the other boot's sole came unglued, so I took it to be fixed again to this shop. Each time I had to leave the boots with owner so the glue could have sufficient time to dry before wearing. When I went to pickup my boots the owner says he replaced my heels as well. I was stunned because they were replaced on my first visit to this shop. Besides, I only asked to have the sole reglued. So he didn't have my consent or knowledge that he was removing my heels as well. I took the boots home and tried them on as well as checking the soles and heels. I was not happy with the heels since the owner replaced the heels with a cheaper model of heel. The heels also made the front portion of my boot higher than the heel portion. So, not comfortable to wear for any length of time. I took the boots back the next day and told him I was not happy and that he replaced my heels without my consent. Then he says that they were worn out. He also said he never did my heels before on these boots. *** ** ** ***** ** *** ** ******** ** out of better quality heels on my boots. I **** *** **** ***** ** ***** *** **** **** **** **** ** ***** ******** ** ************** *** ** ******* I walked out after that because the owner started yelling at me **** ** *** *** **** ****** I left without my boots. I have never experienced anything like that from a business in Canada. I did go to the ******** ********* **** at White Rock ********* Hall to see if they could make a note of my complaint on the business license for this shoe repair shop. They kindly listened to my version and suggested BBB.

    Hello Rhonda, I apologize for the errors made on your heel. I should have asked for your permission to change the heel before assuming that you would have wanted it. In my humble opinion I had thought it was worn out and uneven so I thought you would have wanted it to be changed. The heel I replaced was not a cheap heel **** ****** I did not think the quality of the original heel was of a higher quality. They were both similar. If you prefer rubber heels I can change it for you. Also, I felt disrespected when you assumed these new heels were **** ***** *** **** * *** **** ****** I don't use cheap quality items for my clients. It seemed unfair to assume I would do ***** business ***** ** ****** when I thought I was doing something you might have wanted. I’m sorry for the misunderstanding and assumption. I hope that you could forgive me and allow me to fix your shoe the way you would prefer it for no extra cost.
