    On April 4, 2024 I purchased a McKenzie seeds package of 2 Dahlia tubers with the “It Grows Here Guarantee”. On April 6 I emailed the address on the package as the tubers were in very poor condition with no visible eyes; one tuber had mold on it. I wanted to know the steps of obtaining a refund under the It Grows Here Guarantee in the event these tubers did not grow. I received a prompt response from “Keen” that day asking for photos, which I sent. I was advised by Keen that a “Product Specialist” would be consulted & I would receive a response accordingly. All of this correspondence took place on April 6, 2024. I purchased an additional 3 packages of Dahlia tubers from McKenzie Seeds and out of a total of 8 tubers, only one grew enough to break through the soil however it didn’t produce any flowers or tubers.

    I have emailed McKenzie Seeds to follow up with them on July 31, 2024, October 21, 2024, October 25, 2024, November 8, 2024 & March 29, 2025- all of these emails have gone unanswered. I like to support local & have purchased a lot of seeds from this supplier, the lack of customer service is astounding.

    Hello, 

    April 9th, I reached out to the customer Krista ****** via phone, it went to voicemail and a voicemail was left to inquire about contacting me back to go over which bulb replacements she would like as we had multiple varieties to offer. I did not receive a phone call back from Krista.

    I then emailed Krista (*** **********) April 10th to express how we would like to send replacements and what option are in stock to replace them with. Necessary as in her complaint on your end did not specify this information. If so, I would have been able to send our next closest option. I also did not get a response to this email either. 

    April 15th (today) I have issued a $***** gift card to Krista (*** ********* which covers the total cost of the 4 packages she purchased and over by $***** as each package was $**** each. I hope this settles the mishandled customer complaint done by our previous customer service team.
