    Business was scheduled to come to ********* ******* **** in Brandon to help move equipment for ******* ************ **** 0n May 7, 2024. Deposit of ****** was transferred by myself on behalf of club. Workers from business did not appear at all. Employee from business said via phone workers were sent to wrong job. He promised a refund but none came. Sent a number of e-mails to company with no response. Finally got a response saying refund would be given. Still no refund. Talked to an office manager on phone. He again promised refund but none was given.

    I am writing to follow up on a complaint from the customer mentioned above. I had reached out to the customer and assured him that I would investigate the matter. I apologize for the delay; it is regrettable. We are scaling down our operations in Brandon, and Emelio was responsible for this task. As I am in Ontario, I requested that due process be allowed, as I was unsure of the scheduled time for the job.

     

    I was informed that our team had called to confirm their arrival, but the customer claimed that the job had already been completed. To date, I have not received any written documentation explaining what exactly occurred. Our business page only has positive reviews, making it important to address this issue.

     

    I agree that a reasonable amount of time has passed and it seems appropriate to refund the customer's deposit. I had committed to personally visit the customer, as we have worked for him in the past, in an effort to mitigate the situation.

     

    Please advise on the next steps, as I have not received any written communication from the said employee.
