I used this company to winterize my camper last year and all was ok, I received a message that they were going to open up campers mid May. Every other business I had used included spring opening in the winterization price. No pricing was given to me, no packages discussed with me so I assumed it was included. This company also kept my keys and battery over the winter. I was advised this spring that my battery was no longer working so I agreed to have them replace the battery for $** which I sent via e-transfer and they stated they received the payment. When I received a bill for over $***, I asked what it was for and they advised it was for opening my camper. I told them I was never told about any cost to open my camper as winterization packages were the only pricing I received which I paid last fall for over $***. *** ***** *** **** **** *** ***** ****** ** *** ** ** *** *** I told them I was not paying something I did not agree to. They also told me they did the gold opening package which I was never given any pricing nor did they tell me there was a cost. After them arguing with me, I informed them that they no longer had permission to go near my camper. I went out to check on the camper and noticed the battery I paid for was gone. The caretaker of the park told me that he was told that I never paid for it and he let them take it without contacting me. I reached out to the company asking for my money back for the battery that they took from me and I have received no response. I tried to resolve this between myself and the business with no luck so I have opted to contact you to help so this does not happen to anyone else.

When we did the winter closing on this customers camper, the price sheet stated winterization for campers and gave the three packages. It did not state winterization and spring opening. We had contacted her in the spring to see if she wanted it opened and she said yes, so we proceeded to do so, we did not realize the customer could not read the clearly stated packages for winterization and that it did not include spring opening. We also did not accept her $** for the battery that she sent so it should have gone back into her account , if it has not, she should speak with her bank and to figure out where it went, but we did not accept it. As for her battery and her keys we had asked her in the fall if she would like us to bring the battery and keys back to our shop and we could charge it for the spring and bring them back out. It is not our fault that the battery was old and would not accept the charge we had offer her a good used battery for $** instead of the regular $*** for a new one, until we found out that she was refusing to pay for the three hours of work we put into her camper at that point of time we decided to keep our good used battery  and not accept her $**. Out of the 30 winterization and spring openings that we did she is the only one that was not able to read the papers properly. The price list clearly stated it was for winterization. It did not state for spring opening as well. What she has had done in the past was a poor comparison to the services that she received for the funds that she had paid for the winterization and we make no apologies for what we charge, the previous company that she had to winterization on her camper had it done in 15 minutes by just putting antifreeze in,we went so far as to clean out all of the food stuff and candies and miscellaneous items that would attract mice, defrosting her fridge that had 4 inches of ice build up, as well as putting her chairs away for the winter and cleaning up the area which was not included  in the package, but we go above and beyond for our customers . I am sorry that she did not have a good experience and I Hope this ends the matter. ** *** ***** **** ** ******** **** *** ******* ******* *** ******** * ***** **** ** ******** ***** ** ***** *** ******* **** ** ***** ** * *****.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I have contacted my bank and they will look into the charge as it did come out of my account, they advised these costs will be recovered and that they did come out of my account. *** ** ** *********** ******** ** ******* *** * *** ******* **** ****** ** ** *********  * ********** **** ****** ********* ** **** ****** *** **** **** ************* ** ********* ** ******** ** *** ******* **** * ********* *****

Hi, this customer was explained all the pricing and was sent a sheet that explained the closing of her camper and was explained as well opening was separate. We had went above and beyond for this person and opened her camper for the season and she was very rude. I had sent everything via text to her so I do have proof that she was told about the pricing, I need this complaint deleted from here ASAP I do not have any money of hers nor did I accept any money from her. I just told her to enjoy and have a good day. That’s all I did. I did not argue with her. We worked three hours on her camper opening it for the season of course I’m very upset. We didn’t get paid for it, but I’m not gonna sit and argue **** ******** **** ** *** ******** and as for her $** for a battery I would like to see proof for that because I never did receive that money.
