I am making this claim for my mom. She has some health issues is the reason. She bought a camper from Four Seasons Sales on August 9 2024. She had been texting with a sales person Bob ***** about it. It was agreed the camper would be ready to look at on the August 9. We made four hour drive to look at it and camper was in such a mess. It was dirty, the slide was hanging out and second slide was in. We couldn't really even look at it, but it was said if we bought it we would have a month warranty just because it wasn't ready to be looked at. Bob said it would be cleaned, propane full and a few other things done to it. When camper was delivered (12th), it was a disgusting mess which took me three days to clean. When I hooked it up to water there was a leak and I noticed other things like the floor being soft in bathroom and kitchen. This was Aug 13. August 16 a tech came from Virden to look at leak and agreed the floor was soft. She(Janet) also fixed caulking in bathroom that was never done. A vent in bathroom needed replacing and she said she would get a new one ordered. That never happened. I also showed some other things and she said she would be talking to the GM Troy in Virden. She told me to also phone him because he was in charge of stuff like this with all the dealerships. I have talked to him, he has did nothing, I talked to Bob the sales guy and he gives me service right away. They just keep ignoring me and now it's October and nothing has been done. ***** *** **** ****** ***** *** ***** ****** **** *** ****** **** *** ******** ******* ** *** ***** ***** **** ****** ** *** ***** ** **** **. When you walk on floor you can tell there are soft spots. This was all noticed within the month they gave us with some other issues, like floor lifting by table do to push out. Also Bob said to my mom there was no mice that got in camper. Well I found mice ***** My mom is 75 and did not need this stress they have created. It's been a nightmare.

There was a verbal agreement between Bob and my mom about
camper being cleaned, propane full, a bull nose put on where slide comes out
and meets the floor. Also when mom was with Eric, the finance guy paying for
camper there was an agreement of 1 month warranty due to camper not being ready
to look at. I had mentioned we were disappointed camper was not ready to look
at it. Bob was also in room when this was said about warranty. Also delivery
guy could not believe how dirty it was and took pictures, as did Janet. She
mentioned that it looked like they tried to hide water damage by painting white
paint. Janet also said it would have never been hooked up to water at
dealership or pressure tested like add said

    My mom's
hands don't work that great anymore and all the drawer slides were broken in
the bedroom and kitchen. They are tuff to open and close. I forgot to mention
they all need new slides. We couldn't  test any of this because camper
wasn't ready when we got there. There was also a floor vent in the kitchen my
mom almost fell because of how they left it so loose. Also the flooring behind
the couch was missing and it looked like they replaced the slide out plywood
without letting us know. My guess is that it has water damage just like the
floor in the bathroom and kitchen.
    Also as I mentioned
my mom's health is not good and camping was her happy place. She had to wait
two weeks for leak behind toilet and shower to be fixed. This should not have
happened. Yet another problem that caused frustration.

    Business Response

    Date: 25/10/2024

Good afternoon Todd, thank you for writing to share your concerns. Reading through them, there are certainly some areas where we could have done a better job to improve your experience.

So we are starting from the same place, the disclosure below is what we acknowledge will be in good working order upon pick up/delivery of an As Is unit -

We sell these campers knowing that they have issues - and share that with the customer - which is why we don't put them through our Used Certified program.

Even cleaning and filling propane is not something we do typically on these units as all of that comes with a cost and the goal is to keep the resale cost as low as possible to provide a better value to the customer. Now if your salesperson and you had a verbal agreement to fill the propane and clean the unit, it is possible that they didn't communicate that properly which is why it got missed.

As it is, we did do a significant repair to the slide floor based on your mom's request and as a condition of the sale. The soft spots in the other areas would be very common in this vintage of trailer and likely either from the duct work being in a high traffic area or the foam on the bonded floor breaking down due to the age. We did offer a 1 month warranty, but that is for items like A/C's, Hot water tanks, slide operation - the items we said would be working when purchased.

We have sent roadside to you previously to try and rectify a few of these issues, specifically the leaks (which very well could be caused by transporting the unit) because that is part of what we guarantee to be working and will attempt to continue to support you with other issues if they arise.

I would be willing to offer you some compensation as a tangible apology for the cleaning/propane fill not being completed and the trailer not meeting expectations. If you would like to give me a call at the dealership *************** we can discuss what that looks like. Thanks
