    ** ***** * ***** *** ** **** ***** **** Her name is McKinley D**** and her company is Brow Therapy ** ***** ***** * ********** *** *** ** *** **** ** *** ******** *** ** ******** . I met with her for a consultation on March 27th were discussed the procedure and price, she said if I paid the $*** then I would not have to pay the touch up fee in a fee weeks, so I etransfered her the $***. Then she started canceling the appointments ,or changing the times last minute , I was very accommodating to her, eventually I was thinking she was never going to do it . Then I had a doctor's appt and she suggested I should not get it done due to my diabetes and other medical issues.     This complaint is against the owner McKinley ****** She also works out of her home ** *** ******** **** ********* ** *** **** I had an appointment to get microblading on my brows. The consultation was Dec 2, 2023. At the consultation she was e-transferred $*** for a deposit and my appointment was set for Dec. 9th at her home studio. The total cost for the microblading was suppose to be $*** as this was a Black Friday special. The Thursday before my appointment I wanted to e-transfer the rest of my payment as I don’t do banking on my phone, and she asked for $***. I did not realize it at the time, but that brought my total to $*** so she over charged me. But before my appointment on Dec 9th, she text me and canceled my appointment saying she was not feeling well. Next appt was for Jan 6th, which I had to cancel because my work shift had changed. The next appt was Jan 17th, she canceled again and rescheduled for Jan 28th and then canceled again. She said she was not feeling well and would msg me when she was feeling better. Feb 4th I still had not heard from her. Life was going to get very busy for me so I msg McKinley and explained that I was moving into a new position at work, and that life was getting very busy for me and I just did not have time to get my brows done now, so asked for a refund. Of course she was not happy and explained she would keep my deposit. My deposit was $*** but in a e-mail she said it would be $**** her Facebook page also said deposit $***. I said because you canceled on me 3 out of 4 attempted appts, could you find it in your heart to 1/2 the deposit with me and refund me $***. She said she would talk to her accountant Feb 9th. Received a text stating her accountant was away and she would make sure I got my refund by Feb 14th. Feb 17th I text her again to ask when I was going to get my refund. Her reply was I’m so so sorry I will contact my accountant today and you will have it by next week. Feb 24th I text her again asking if I could get my refund by end of day. Again received a text stating how sorry she is, and that she totally forgot and she would send it tomorrow Feb 25th. Here it is Mar 2 and I have still not received my $*** refund or heard from her.
