      Racka roofing installed a new roof on my sunroom on Sept 7 2023. The next morning i notched the flat roof was lifting up around the edges so i contacted Darren at Racka and he sent a guy out to look/fix it. Unfortunately he only looked/fixed one side and when I looked at the other sides it was still lifting up too. So I called Darren again and he told me he would send out their flat roofing specialist to look at it. He came and fixed another side. Two days later I checked the roof and it is still peeling. I contacted Darren on Sept 18/2023 and asked for one of the 3 owners to contact me so we could arrange a time to meet on site to discuss why this is happening and what can be done to fix it. It is now almost 3 weeks later and the owners of Racka Roofing have refused to contact me. With the rain we have had the last two days I have noticed that water is coming out of my soffits on the sunroom which means it must be getting under the flat roof they installed.

      Good Morning!

      I should clarify that the two owners the customer referred to by name were Peter ****** and John ******.  Peter has been retired for over a year now and John is in a more on site/hands on role and things of this nature are not normally within his purview. Mike ********* and Jared ******* are also in ownership at Racka and as Mike is away from the office from Oct. 4-12, I (Jared) am responding on our behalf with limited direct knowledge of the exact situation.

      The first thing I will say is that from what I have been able to determine, we are not intentionally avoiding the situation. We have had a tech back to his home on two separate occasions since the work was originally performed and can confirm that while there is more needed there, it is not a situation where the home is in dire jeopardy of damage. That is not to say I want to delay in any way, only to put minds at ease.

      I cannot speak to whether or not at any point in the last three weeks Mike reached out to the customer in an attempt to sort things. I can see a possibility where an email may have been sent to John (as he was specifically requested) and he is predominantly on the tools and not accustom to this sort of thing it was missed. If that is the case I do apologize.

      I (Jared) have left a voicemail with the customer last week and have yet to hear back. When I do I shall make arrangements to have John and/or Mike head over to attend and determine best course of action.
