      Sold my car through the online auction 3 weeks ago, They took the car when we had deal and inspected it before sale and I received my full payment. Now the auction sales person is asking me to pay some damage they found on the car after they transported it to the buyer in AB.
      I am not aware of any damage on this car when it was in my possession and the ADESA inspected the car before sale.

      My car was sold for less then my asking amount, and now they asking $**** from me to fix the damage to the car which might be caused while in transit and after the car is already delivered to the buyer.

          I have looked into this situation. Your client has nothing to worry about . This damage appears that it was not noted by the seller when they gave us the photos of the car to sell. OPENLANE Winnipeg Previously ADESA Auctions gave the buyer $***** to cover the damage and has just done this as a goodwill gesture to the buyer as this damage was not noted.

         The reason the arbitration department reached out to the seller was that's its normal practice to go back to a seller when damage is not noted in the posting. However our system could not tell that we sold this car for a public seller and not a car dealership. When we are only dealing with auto dealers this is how we handle damage claims . In this case it was overlooked by the arbitrator and did not realize what they were dealing with. This case has been closed on our end and we gave the credit for our auction. The seller has nothing to worry about as this case is handled.
