I had gone in on November 13th 2024 for new winter tires, for my 2015 Ford Fiesta at Vics. He made me aware that my alignment was out and I needed a new left strut as the old one was bent causing the alignment to be out.
That Evening Vic had called me to inform me that his alignment reader was malfunctioning and that the alignment might actually be fine. He was going to have his reader fixed and would call me once it was to come back in to rescan my alignment.
On November 28th 2024 Vic called me to let me know the reader was fixed and to schedule a time to come in with the car to rescan the alignment I made an appointment for December 6th 2024 @ 9am
On December 6th 2024 I dropped the car off at Vics at 9:00 am and returned to pick up the car at 1pm. Vic informed me that the alignment was fine. He also informed me that the strut was fine and I did not need to replace it. Vic then proceeded to sit down, I asked if everything was good to go? He proceeded to inform me I needed to pay the bill first. I was not aware there was any fee to rescan the alignment as he requested me bring the car back due to his machine not working correctly at our prior appointment. However, Vic informed me he had gone ahead and completed the alignment although I had not authorized him to do so. I was informed that I owed $****** to release my vehicle.
