      Jan 7/22 I had my 2010 Acadia towed to Fil-Canadian not starting.Jan 10 garage called to say engine was seized due to timing chain fail.Agreed to have used motor installed cost $5,922.65.I supplied a new timing chain kit to put in as motor was used.Mechanic said timing chain in motor was good and did not use the new one.Work done by Jan 22.On May 20 while going to Gimli car stalled.It was towed back to Fil-Canadian.The motor was blown due to timing chain fail.It was agreed a warranty engine would be installed.This took a long time and was done on June 6,Fil-Can gave me a bill for $1,385.31.I said why the cost when it is under 6 month warranty. Owner said have to pay as these costs are not included, I objected but needed my car. On July 4 I had a friend put engine scan on. He found timing chain faults, I took it back to Fil-Can and they changed the timing chain. I was again handed a bill for $327.11 .I objected it was for gaskets and cam phaser parts that should be in motor and if defective are warrantied. Owner again would not listen and blamed the motor supplier, would not release car until paid. I paid as I need my car. Including tows this has cost near $8,000double and triple paying for work.
