I have been dealing with Priority since October of 2024. My dishwasher leaked and caused major damage to my kitchen floor. The main issue of concern is communication. Weeks will go by with nothing. They will often communicate with me on a Friday late afternoon, leaving little room for back and forth communication. Priority removed my kitchen floor and dishwasher and my kitchen was a construction zone for several months. I waited for the project to begin with little communication. They blamed the insurance company. Once the “funding” came through, the project began (it’s now May and the project is incomplete). Many mishaps occurred and a lack of communication continued. The flooring company did a horrible job and I let Priority know this all throughout the project. My floor was put in without proper tools and is not level. **** ** ********** ******* **** ****** **** *** *** *** **** ******* Then once insurance, the flooring company, and Priority came together, suddenly they began blaming everything else… suddenly my house had some foundational issues and that’s why my floor was sideways (please again keep in mind my floor had a sink hole after the new floor was installed and my dishwasher is now installed completely misaligned). Priority has signed off on this horrible workmanship even though I have said that I am unhappy with the work that has been done. Priority should be working with the flooring company to replace the floor and fix the misalignment and should also be communicating with the client throughout the whole process. We had a meeting three weeks ago and I was promised a report within two days. It’s been three weeks. And my dishwasher flooded in October 2024. This endless project has ruined my kitchen and taken 7 months. 7 months for a kitchen floor is completely unacceptable. They left a mess in my basement, did not provide me with a final report, and the lock box is STILL on my property even though they are claiming now that my “job is complete”.

    Hi Kendra,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We understand how important it is to feel confident in your home’s restoration, and we take your concerns seriously.

As discussed during our site visit, we reviewed the flooring concerns with you in person and identified that the uneven floor joists were a contributing factor. Additionally, as confirmed in the insurer’s final review and findings provided yesterday, the conditions in question are pre-existing and not the result of workmanship by either Priority Restoration or the flooring installer. It was also noted that changes such as the selected flooring type and the installation of a larger dishwasher may have contributed to the perceived misalignment.

Our goal is always to deliver the highest standard of service and workmanship, and we are confident that our work meets those standards. We believe we have acted reasonably and in good faith throughout this process, making every effort to understand and address your concerns.
