    On July 20,2022, I hired Top Gun Chimney to repair a leaky chimney. I was charged $**** plus $****** PST and $****** GST for a total of $*******. He was to repoint and seal the entire chimney, repair chimney liner?, new chase top, storm collar, and seal off open flue. First of all he spent most of his time up there on the phone, then left a ********** mess that someone had to clean up. He did add some grout I believe to the front of the chimney but not the sides or back and it was not sealed. I had to pay another person $*** to do that work and but cement sealing paint to the tune of $*** for 2 cans. He replaced the electric fireplace flue but at first had the wrong cover up there and it ;looked like I had siliconed it. He also put a piece of sheetmetal over my wood furnace flue. When this was pointed out to him, he put a proper chase top on the electric fireplace, then put a metal cap on the wood burning fireplace flue. * ******* **** ** ******* ** * **** ** **** ******* ** ** ***** ** ****** *** I have no idea what repairs he did to the chimney liner. My chimney still leaks and I had someone go up there and it has to do with the flashing. He assured me he would get this right but never did. I do not want to deal with him ever again and all I want is my money back as he did not do the work he promised he would do and the problem is still there and I have to pay someone else to fix this.

    In regard to Miss ********* complaint there were multiple things wrong with her chimney and  she had an issue with her roof *** *** ******* *** ******* *** *** ******* ***** *** ** ***** **** *** ****** ***** *** ** ***** **** *** ******* *** ********* *** ***** *** * ********* **** *** ** ****** ** ***. We went back multiple times to correct issues With the chimney one to which I do admit I constructed the wrong size covers every time there is an issue I came back. I let her know that through process of elimination if the top part was an issue I would put a metal cover on it at my expense  she never called me back so that’s not on me that’s on her. **** *** ***** **** *** ** *** ****** ** *** ******** ***** **** ****** ***** ** ******* **** **** *** *** ***** **** *** ****** ******* *** *** **** ****** Like I said if you check with Miss *******you will find we went back approximately eight times to deal with different issues with her chimney. It is our position that will we will not be offering any kind of a refund because of the work that was done on an ongoing basis.

    I am rejecting this response because: He is ***** about coming back 8 times. Never once did I say it had to do with the roofers as the problem was there BEFORE the roof was done. He claims to have done work that was never done IE chimney liner, I never asked for a cover over anything, did not repoint and seal entire chimney either. He spent most of his time on the phone not working.

    And we did come back eight times to try and rectify what seem to be a never ending problem. I did explain to Miss ******* that the first tile top was just a little bit short so I had to come back and replace that we used her water hose on four different occasions to try and find the leak we used it at the roof level one time and then she would get back to me as to whether or not it would leak we used it spraying down the Masonary on the chimney to see if it would leak we used it on the top of the chimney to see if it would leak as I said before we were there countless times she had many issues with the roof and chimney and we rectified each time. I hope this response is sufficient
