We recently used A1 Chimney to diagnose and repair a damaged and rotten chimney in our 35 year old house. We were very happy with the service throughout and Ed's ongoing advice as he inspected and determined the extent of the work necessary. Once the project was completed and the scaffolding was removed they cleaned up the worksite beautifully. ** ***** ********* **** ********

We had noticed a musty smell coming from our fire place so called 3 different chimney inspection companies and left a message for each one. A-1 was the first to respond days before everyone else. They were prompt to come out for a free inspection and found the problem right away. Inspector showed knowledge and respect for our concerns and needs.
Already had a cap installed on the top of the chimney by another company which the inspector
noticed was installed incorrectly [ no plywood underneath] which stops any condensation from forming. Also no insulation was put in. To correct this we were issued a quote which was quite reasonable. Work was done quickly and cost was less than the quote.
We are happy with the work and feel comfortable that the problem was resolved.A1 Chimney Inspections & Services Inc

I wish to extend my satisfaction with A1 Chimney on several grounds. I saw a problem with our
fireplace chimney top becoming loose and allowing water into the firebox. I called 4 contractors and got no response from two and one that didn't do small jobs. However we received a quick answer from Judy and Ed was over immediately for an inspection and quote. Ed, Mike and Will did a great job in a short time. The job site inside and out was clean as if no one was there.

Amazing customer service!!!! I had a difficult problem with a dryer vent which was vented through my attic. Jeff was so efficient and knowledgeable. He quickly figured out how to fix the problem and I am so grateful to him because no other company could figure out what to do with this vent.
