    Duct work on 11April2025. $*** for duct/register cleaning, furnace cleaning, and disinfecting. Company hired to clean ducts post foundation repair to remove concrete dust. After team left, noticed large mess around vents upstairs (I cleaned up as this is my living area) and concrete dust spread on all surfaces across the house. Basement contained large amount of debris under ceiling vents and concentrated in furnace room. Debris contained nails, wood chips, drywall pebbles, concrete dust, small stones. Technician claimed it came from off top of ducts. As this is entirely inaccurate, communicated with company numerous times over days by phone and email. Emailed numerous photos to company representative. Email chain indicated the company is aware a large mess has been left in my house. Finally received emails back from manager Jimmy stating the that debris shook from top of ducts - again inaccurate. On 25April2025 company sent another technician to inspect work, Tristan. He indicated that the reason for this problem was the opening in the floor joist liner. I indicated this was explained prior to work starting and that their tech said it would be fine. I have not attempted to further clean my basement as this provides evidence however Tristan did sweep some of the debris up, took pictures, and said he could bring equipment to finish cleaning up the mess. He indicated that 10% refund (about $**) is still the only thing they can do.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    First of all, I was told by the manager ****** on the phone that whether the heater problem was related to dust cleaning could not be proven. Therefore, the business said that if the problem of the heater has nothing to do with the duct cleaning, I need to pay for the diagnosis fee, which is to throw all the responsibility back to me, and I would be required to pay this fee in any case. So I refuse. Second, the business did not respond to questions about whether manager ******'s statement that they had no responsibility to inform customers of the seven-day warranty was justified. It is very necessary for the business to remind the customer of the warranty period before and after the service, at least I will call them immediately when I find any small sound from the heater ********* **** *** ****** **** *** ****** **** *** ******* ** ******* ** ** **** *** **** *********, rather than being too kind to consider for the business that it may be a small problem *** * **** *** ** *** * ***** ** ** ******* ****** ** *****

    Good afternoon, we have been in touch with this customer and gone over their situation with them. The cleaning was performed six weeks prior to contact with us. If there was an issue with the furnace, it would’ve happened immediately after the service was performed. We can offer to have a technician go back to the house to look at the furnace however, if it’s unrelated to the cleaning, there would be $*** diagnostic fee. If it’s related to the cleaning, then there will be no charge
