  We had a great experience working with Sykes. The job was the removal of an existing line of knob and tube in our home. We met with 3 other companies on the same day and Lisa from Sykes was the only electrician to go through the entire house and actually check to see if there were any other lines that would need to be removed. *** ****** ***** ***** **** * ***** ******* ****** ** *** ****** *** *********** **** **** ** ****** *** ** * *********** **** Lisa was the only one who checked each outlet on each floor. She was professional and explained the job in terms we could understand. She also somehow managed to get the job completed for us within a few days. I often do not write reviews but feel compelled to speak to this excellent company.

  Sykes Electrical were competively priced with service that exceeded my expectations. Lisa and Glen responded promptly to any questions with advice that was always comprehensive, timely and helpful. The on site electricians for the knob and tube replacement were considerate, respectful and tidy. Including repair of any drywall damage made a daunting task much less challenging for me. Competitve pricing and comprehensive wonderful service.....couldn't have asked for a better experience

  We are pleased with the work done by Sykes Electric. Lisa and the crew worked well together to get our knob and tube wiring replaced. They also helped us by making suggestions and pointing out possible problems for us and they were able to fix and prevent future difficulties. We really appreciated their respect for our home and the care they took while we were away. When we had questions they were able to return and make the necessary changes. They also saved us a big expense in the use of our old electrical panel. We have already passed on to our friends who are looking to have new wiring done our experience and satisfaction of a job well done. Thank you.

  Very professional team, knowledgeable and efficient. Answered my questions in terms I could understand. Their quoted price was reasonable and my project actually came in slightly under budget. They left my home very tidy once the work was done. I definitely would recommend this company to others and would call them again if I need future work.

  We found knob and tube hidden in our home. We gave Sykes a call, they came in and gave us an estimate for the removal of our knob and tube as well as the other jobs we wanted to do. The team was very professional and friendly. Would highly recommend. Very satisfied with the completed job and plan to call them back for a future project!

  Great work I couldn't been more pleased.
  From Lisa who provided the initial estimate and onto Kennedy and the other 3 electricians that did the work, I've nothing but good things to say about them all. I also spoke with Glen who made me feel very comfortable with there abilities to do the work, an all round good team at Skyes
  The onsite electricians were very engaging and explained things very well. The work was done in professional and timely fashion, upon completion they cleaned things up nicely.

  Sykes was one of the four quotes we had gotten done and their quote fell within the middle of the other quotes and in our set budget, including repairing any holes made which not all of our quotes offered this, so it was nice to have this included in the quote as we are not handy people for fixing holes in walls.
  Sykes was very easy to communicate with and Lisa was fantastic at explaining the quote and what it would take to get our request of grounding four outlets and adding a outlet done. We received a reminder email for the installation date, which was much appreciated as I had forgotten the date we had set up as our job was small and we didn't need it to happen asap.
  The two guys that came and did the work for us were respectful of our home by having separate shoes for wearing inside, covering our stuff to limit the dust getting on it and they cleaned up their work and any messes after on both days of work with a final big clean on the second day. They beautifully repaired all holes they made and when we get around to painting the walls you won't be able to tell a hole was there. They were both very easy to talk with and answer any questions I had and communicated with me when something needed to be done differently than what I was told at the time of the quote; they even alerted me to what they had seen while working in my attic in regards to moisture and a leak which as a first time homeowner was greatly appreciated to be told this :), they were also even able to accommodate my request to add a surge protector to our panel and to make our basement electric baseboard heaters on separate thermostats instead of the one controlling both rooms.
  From start to finish we are very pleased with picking this company and will happily use Sykes Electric again if the need came up *** ** ****** ********* **** ** ****** ******* for electrical work being done.

  I am more than happy to give Sykes Electric a 5-star review. Glen and Lisa were a pleasure to do business with and I can’t say enough good things about their crew - Kennedy, Trapper, Dan and Dion. They are professional, respectful, personable, hardworking, knowledgeable, punctual and overall just great people! Their rates are reasonable and they did a fantastic job with clean up. I feel very lucky to have found them to do the knob and tube replacement in our home. ** *** **** ********* **** * **** ***** ******* *** ***** ******* *** **** ********** ***** * ***** ****** ********* ********** ***** ********* They are fantastic!
