Hired C.S.S. Concrete sealant systems in May 2019 to fix foundations issues from inside the basement of our home. Company diagnosed the problem and suggested not only foundation repair but adding 2 new window wells, one to each of our basement windows (at the time we did not have any window wells). Spring of 2020, window wells flooded causing water to run into our basement. Contacted company, first said to run hot water down the window well drain, then said it's a high water table year but maybe installed incorrectly. Left it at that time as went with their advice that high water table. Next spring in 2021 same issue. My wife contacts them and given excuses but told they would look at it. Nothing happens. Last spring complained again and told it will be looked again and again, no one comes. In October 2022 reach Nelson at C.S.S. and I'm told it will be fixed in spring of 2023 April or May. It is now June. Every time I reach them I'm told next week. I'm told they need to redo the drain to make sure each one reaches to the weeping tile which according to them wasn't done originally. I have a warranty page valid until May 1, 2034. All we want is this fixed but keep getting pushed off week after week.

We attended to the customer directly and remedied the deficiency on June 18/ 2023 by excavating the window wells again and ensuring the drainage reaches the weeping tiles. This as done incorrectly on the original visit and very sorry for the frustration on the customers end but we are happy to have solved the problem.

I am lodging a complaint against Concrete SealantSystems Inc. (CSS). They are the company I hired in late 2021 to find and repair a leak in my basement. Around Oct.1/21 Warren came to my home, tore away some drywall to access the cement wasn't where the leak was. I called Nelson on Oct. 6th and mentioned this, he called me back almost immediately and said he would pass the message to his son Warren. On Oct. 25th I called Nelson again, he advised they were preparing their schedule for the week, he will call me Tuesday morning. I called him at 9:30 saying I had a few things going on and would prefer he come Wednesday instead, he agreed. H e did show up Oct. 29th and removed several pieces of drywall on the west wall as the water appeared to be coming from there. I ran the water outside on the west wall and Nelson could see it running down the wall, there was a crack/opening in the concrete at the base of the gas pipe. H e said he would return in a few days when the ground dried up a bit as they would have to work from the outside to repair the leak. I called Nelson Nov. 3rd , when will he return I wanted the work done before it rains again or the ground freezes. He said he would come over the next few days; I advised I would be away Thursday til noon and then again Friday and Saturday. On Nov.22nd around 9:00 I called him and left a message to the effect I was disappointed they had not returned to complete my job while it was dry and before the snow. I asked him to put me on the "priority" list for spring jobs AND in the event they could not finish this job he should let me know so I could make arrangements. On March 11, 2022 I sent him an email outlining the particulars about my job and messages I had left in the past. Nelson was suppose to come May 17 0- no show - no call. I called him again, I said it is dry he should be here before it rains again; said he would try tomorrow May 25 or for sure the day after (May 26). I called him again on June 3rd...didn't get here last week, what is new date, he PROMISED he would come today (June 3). On June 8th I called again, no answer and could not leave a message "mail box full". I tried the other number I had *************) and again "mail box full". On this same day - June 8th- I sent another email and included my original one to remind him how long this has gone on. As of today, July 5th, I have not heard from him or Warren

    Hi Barbara,

We are very sorry And I can understand your frustration but please know that any oversight was not intentional on our part. It has been a very hectic year and we are doing our bet to accommodate everyone. We will get to your job as soon as possible and we do very much appreciate your patience

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
    I don't accept it because I don't need their "understanding" What I do need is to have the leak identified last fall (2021) repaired as they agreed to. The owner did call me, ** ***** ***** ******* * ****** **** **** on July 11th/22 and said something like THEY INTEND TO FINISH MY JOB, HOPEFULLY THEY CAN GET HERE OVBER THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS. Dare I say today is July 29th, around noon....I have not seen or heard from him over these 14-18 days. This is what I have been exposed to, ongoing. ** *** **** * **** ******** *** *** **** **** **** **** *** *** ****** ** ****** **** *** **** **** *** *** ***** ** * *** ****** ** *** ***** *** **** ***. I can appreciate that they are having a hectic year and doing their best to accommodate everyone. ****** ** ***** *** **** ** ***** ****** ** *** ******* **** **** ******** ********** ***** ******* **** ** **** ***** **** **************** ***** * ****** * ******* ** ***** *** **** ******* ***** ** ** * ***** **** *** ***** **** *** ***** ********. Also this is not an oversight on his part....I did not allow it. I communicated with him right up to Nov.22/21 letting him know how disappointed I was that he did not complete the task before cold/winter. I sent an e-mail in early March this year, asking to be a priority for repair since I had already been waiting almost 6 months. **** ***** ** ************** *** ****** ****** ** ********** ******** ******* ******* *** *** **** **** **** ***** ****** *** *** ****** *** ******
