    June 12 (+2 weeks), 2023. We paid John **** ********* (goes by Ryan) $***** he said he required to start the work on the job that would go towards building a deck, one side of fence and finish a small amount of basement drywall and stairs at our home. He provided me a professional looking quote and drawing of the job prior to sending him the $***** etransfer deposit. He also sent me the Invoice from ****** * ***** to pay them directly for all the supplies - which I paid in full.

    He came for two half days to start the job, but only got fence posts in and then never showed up again to finish the fence, basement or even start on the deck. He wasted my partner and I's time and money as we had to take time off work to be home when he said he would be there to work but never was. He took our money, never returned it, nor returned to do the job. After contacting him many times, we gave up after 2 weeks and had to hire someone else which cost us more money as Ryan had ordered some of the wrong material and not enough of some.

We were patient and gave him many chances day after day for 2 weeks to show up to do the work. Every day he said he would come but didn’t. His number says out of service for calls now but he can send and receive texts.

    **** ***** **** ** ********* *** *** **** ************** ******** *** *** ********* *** want our $***** back. My partner and I both requested it many times and have been patient when he said he would give us a refund but never has, with over a month wait. He won't talk on the phone, only text.

    The invoice he gave us is Quote ******** for $********. And the invoice from ****** *** ***** we paid for is Order No ******** for $********. We have other receipts on top of that for hundreds more of supplies we had to buy ourselves, plus 2 days of missed work.
