A gift card was purchased from the Prince ****** ** location over the Xmas season. Seen the company is closing stores but they are still operating & selling clothing but will not redeem the gift card purchased over the **** season. At no time was it mentioned they might be closing & they continued to sell gift cards over the **** season and then say after Jan 17th of this year you are not allowed to use them. Called a ********* location, the employee said their location will probably remain open but they will not be allowed to redeem the gift card. I feel this is awful that the company sold probably a large amount of gift cards over the Xmas season & not even a month later refuses to redeem the gift cards although the stores are still open & selling product. Was told we are just out that money & will not be reimbursed. It was only a $50 gift card but I feel we were scammed out the money by the company who is profiting from all the gift cards purchased over the **** season.
