They were very slow and we ended up with some surprise surcharges. All items arrived undamaged and the movers were friendly.

sorry to see you gave us less than a perfect review. I also see the move was 7 months ago. had you let us know right away i could have looked into better but I will attempt to speak to the crew and see they do better next time.

My piano moving arrangements began smoothly. Puchased a relatively new piano to replace an antique upright currenly in my home. Riverbend and I agreed upon price, date and time of pick up from Seller and delivery to my home. Pick up from seller went well in under 15 minutes. Delivery to my home...well that's a different story. Truck was parked in front of my home. Crew unloaded piano down the ramp from back of truck. Tired to get it up the curb with no success. So they decided to walk down the street to bring up the sidewalk. That's when the piano tipped over and broke! Yes, even my neighbour next door heard the thunk! Crew was on phone at the corner for a long time....I knew something broke and they were calling supervisor. By the time piano was upright and wrapped up and on my front curb, crew advised things were broken, and I assessed. Not impressed I said i was not keeping piano, even though they advised someone from their company coming to look to see if repairs can be made. No thanks...probably internal damage to board and strings! Nick Wight advised that he'd reverse charged on my credit card so I wouldn't have to be charged for the move. Gee I sure hope so. I called back an hour later, receptionist Robin was not pleasant, Nick clearly did not want to take my call. i asked how I would be "compensated" since i am now out the purchase price of my piano, and i teach music starting Sept. 7th. He said "what do you mean compensation? You weren't charged for the move?" He excused himself from call and said he was leaving building! WOW!! In the business of helping people? Really? Not our problem your crew needs to be paid. Your company has insurance to cover things of this nature! It's not MY fault that the piano broke. Completely disgusted in the attitude of management.
