  I'd give half a star if it were possible. This company did a terrible job on my cedar wood siding. Very disappointed in how the owner attempted to blame the bubbling paint on me. He raised his voice to me. He did not honour his word to redo the wood, this time stripping it down and applying an oil base primer, then painting. He said he would just scrape the bubbles off, apply primer and paint, thus compromising the rest of the paint and making it look patchy and uneven. When I refused, he offered me a couple hundred bucks *** ** **** ********* ****** * ******** **** ****** ***** *** *********** *** *** ******* **** I would not agree to that.   It is very shocking to read this review from this customer. It is very unfair *** ********** ****** *** I will explain to the public the story of the house and I will be very clear and transparent.  Maryann called us last year to give her a quote to paint her full house. She has a small bungalow house with three sides stucco and just the front side which is the smallest is cedar wood siding.
  The quote total was $**** and that includes powerwashing the house, some stucco repair, painting the stucco on three sides of her house, the foundation all around the house, all windows around the house, all soffits and fascia around the house, and of course the wood siding on the front side of the house which is actually the smallest part of the job and doesn’t require more than 3-4 hours of work.
  In the quote, it is clearly stated that the prep work we do on the wood siding is hand scraping, hand sanding, oil priming, and two coats of latex paint and in her case we got her paint called “Duration” which is a very high class paint from ******* ********. It is never stated in the quote that we will strip the whole wood and I challenge her to prove me wrong!
  Moreover, we mentioned to her before we start the job that paint bubbles might always show up on the cedar wood after getting painted and there is literally no solution for those bubbles. We will do our part but we are not responsible if those bubbles show and nothing can be done unless she cover that cedar wood area with vinyl siding.
  This year she called us and she said that there are some bubbles on her siding and she want us to go back and check it to see what we can do.
  Although we were very clear since the begining that we are not responsible about bubbles, we went there with good intention to find solution and keep the customer happy.
  It is true there are some bubbles on the wood the could be fixed, and we offered her to scrap off those bubbles, sand those areas with electrical sander to break down all the edges and make it look as smooth as possible, oil prime, and finally paint them. But we also advised that the siding would look worse if we scrap them and it is better to leave it as it is. There was no peeling at all, just some bubbles and those bubbles shows more during the warm season and some of them disappear when it cools off so it is better to keep it like that.
  The customer refused and she said that the only acceptable way for her is to strip down all the paint off the whole front side and paint it all again which is something obviously wasn’t stated in the quote and we cannot do.
  In the end we gave gave her many options in order to solve the problem.
  1. Fix it as it was stated in the original quote.
  2. We offered her a refund of $*** which is what it actually costed her to paint that tiny front siding.
  3. Get another company to strip it for her and paint it, and we will pay off the bill if they guaranttee her no bubbles will show later.
  She refused all three options, and in that case nothing we can do as a company.
  We went above and beyond with her trying to find a good solution, many options were given but obviously she wasn’t trying to find one.
