    Perry Wellington has painted my house and garage twice over the years, and they have always done excellent, reliable, efficient work, and have been very professional, and polite and friendly!!!

    We hired Perry Wellington Decorating to paint our house exterior in spring/summer 2021. We had used them for 10+ years for interior and exterior work with good results. This time, they damaged our property extensively. First off, they sub-contracted another company. **** * ******** ***** *** ******** ** ****** ** ** **** *** ***** ********** *** **** ** **** *** **** *** *** * **** ** *** ********* * **** **** ****. * ******* *** ******** ** * *** ***** *** * ***** ** *** **** *** ******* ****. The job was completed July 1/21. August 20/21, we received a 5 minute downpour which resulted in water in my basement. I discovered the water accidentally when going downstairs to put pool equipment away. I immediately ran outside and saw my sump pump was disconnected. This has never occurred before. The painter had disconnected our sump pump to do the foundation and never reattached. Lloyd partner/owner initially took full responsibility and agreed to cover the damages. Tom, the partner/owner reneged on this offer shortly after and refused to own responsibility. Our insurance company relentlessly requested Perry Wellington to cover the deductible. Tom ******* refused. This left us paying our deductible to repair the basement damage. Tom offered to do the painting once the repairs were done "out of good intention". How disappointing. ** **** ***** *** ** ***** **** ** ****** ******
