    ********* stove/range knob (part # W10594479 see picture) was ordered and paid to Buckingham Appliance Service on April 29, 2024. I went to pick up on May 24, 2024, and they had ordered part # W10826855 instead of the correct one which is the wrong colour and does not even fit the stove. ****, the owner at Buckingham refuses to order correct part or to refund.

    Unfortunately , this customer did not supply the requested information ( complete model # of the range ) for us to properly identify the part that they wanted, they only offered a part that they came up with on their own . we might have been able to identify the proper part # required, had they provided us with the proper information.

     We could only go with the information provided from this customer , and it now seems that the customer was mistaken on the appropriate part #

     We double checked the information provided , and found that the part that they have , is what they had asked for by part # from their own research .  

     

    We do have a disclaimer on every part invoice, that there are no refunds or exchange on special ordered parts.

     

    If the customer would provide us with the complete model # of the range , we would be able to identify the proper part # . without this proper part # , we have no way of knowing  if the customer researched the proper part # .

     

    It is unfortunate that the customer cannot supply the proper information required , to obtain the proper part.

     I am rejecting this response because: It makes no sense for a company to order a random part hoping it would work for the customer or the appliance. A gas range part does not fit on an electric range.
