    November 2024:
    - Claims he has a special on as his debit machine is broken – usually charges $145/service call, offering $20 off – charging $125 today (if customer pays cash).
    - Does not accept cheques (other repair personnel) – no paper trail.
    - Purports to save customer money if they pay cash and won’t charge tax – part of illegal underground economy.
    - Does not issue invoice/receipt: no paper trail for Canada Revenue Agency - does not report income.
    - Without informing customer, removes parts like dryer assembly off-site (customer’s property), cleans it and charges full price as if it is new.
    - Demands cash up front to diagnose and order part, won't issue receipt for cash down-payment – customer supposed to trust a stranger who refuses to give his last name.
    - If customer asks to see bill or packaging for “new” assembly, admits it is “refurbished” by Samsung who still charges full price for “refurbished” part. Outright lie: Samsung Canada does not sell refurbished parts.
    - Claims gets parts faster, ships Purolator $25 but pays $10 extra for faster service (Samsung Purolator shipping is $16.95 - he marks up +$18.05).
    - Charges another $145 to install part – competitors charge for one house call to diagnose and install part.
    - If customer wants proof (invoice/receipt), they pay close to cost of new appliance: he charged $649.75 to replace burned element – new dryer costs $900. No parts breakdown on invoice, only $275 (for our original assembly – new Samsung element costs $207 = markup $68). Going rate for competitors' house calls = $80-$120.
    - His website states “affordable and reasonable prices” – but if you state he is overcharging double the going rate, he threatens to take appliance apart, remove element, and will not leave your premises.
    - Repair job should cost $287 to $327 ended up costing $363 extra – more than double, to get horrible person to leave our property.
