      Sent previously to BBB, this is an abridged version: All was fine with the installation and unit until the heating season started, it was then that I experience very loud popping and banging noises from the wall duct. I contacted the Quebec company in November of 2022, they in turn contacted the local business; a technician was sent to my home. The technician disassembled the wall duct only to find Styrofoam packing still in the unit. This was removed, he reassembled the unit and he also heard the loud noises.

      At one point in May of 2023, a senior technician was sent by the business because of the numerous concerns I submitted regarding the very loud noises, similar to a gunshot, crackling sounds and gurgling noises. He did a cursory look at the wall unit, went outside to check the main pump and ended up in candid conversation with my across the fence neighbor; the two were apparently friends. At the end of his visit he suggested he would contact the company technician who he seemed to know and have them determine what to do next. When I visited the business again in May of 2023, I was told a new board was being sent from the company to the business and the senior technician would install the board; the owner said the installation would be the next day after the board arrived. The board 'apparently' arrived at the business in mid June, but since then, though I visited often and wrote to the owner, nothing on their part.

      From November of 2022 through to end of June 2023, many visits to the business were made by me, this also included a considerable number of letters directed to the owner. There was never any communication on the part of the business to me by mail, and nothing regarding the board. To be helpful, I suggested I would need a bit of pre-notification to make sure the open framework I constructed around the outside unit would allow easy access to the required screws to open the unit and install the new board, no response.
