I signed up with this company for business advertising back in july 2024. This was for every second day advertising (every 2 days) on their ******** page with 60,000 followers. Since day one he has struggled to advertise my business more than 2 times a week. I have an invoice from him stating every other day advertising. I have had repeated conversations with the owner about my dissatisfaction and have finally told him I want a refund and to cancel my advertising. He refuses and has blocked all forms of communication from myself. I honestly do not care about the refund at this point but I believe others should be aware

    Dear Better Business Bureau,

Thank you for bringing Complaint *** ******** to our attention. We take consumer feedback very seriously and appreciate the opportunity to address the concerns of M** **** ******** regarding his advertising service with What’s Up New Brunswick.

Upon reviewing the details provided, I would like to express our sincerest apologies for the dissatisfaction M** ******** has experienced. Our goal is to deliver high-quality advertising services and ensure that our clients feel valued and listened to.

We acknowledge that there were instances where M** ********** ad was shared two days later than originally scheduled. However, we ensured that his ad was still posted on our page and featured in the highlighted section as part of our commitment to promoting his business. The delays resulted from personal issues as well as being overbooked, and we have since resolved the issue of being overbooked.

To address the concerns raised, I would like to offer to continue running M** ********** ads until the end of his advertising period. Additionally, to make up for the few late posts, we are willing to add in any missed advertising during that timeframe for the time missed so we can assure J*** will get what he paid for.

As outlined in our invoice and our established terms and conditions, which M** ******** agreed to upon signing up for our services, we work diligently to ensure a fair and productive advertising experience. Below are our terms and conditions for clarity:

    ---
    **NOTES TO CUSTOMER:**
    Thank you for your business.

**TERMS AND CONDITIONS** for Business Advertising on the ******** page "What's Up New Brunswick":

    1. By advertising on the ******** page "What's Up New Brunswick," you agree to abide by these terms and conditions set forth by the page administrators.
    2. Only businesses operating within the province of *** ********** ******* are eligible to advertise on this page. Proof of business registration may be required.
    3. The content of all advertisements must comply with ********** advertising policies and guidelines. Any ads promoting illegal, offensive, misleading, or harmful content will be immediately removed without notice.
    4. All businesses must disclose any sponsored content or partnerships within their advertisements in compliance with relevant advertising regulations.
    5. The administrators of the page reserve the right to remove any advertisement that does not align with the page's values or that causes disruption to the community.
    6. Advertisements should be relevant to the page's audience, which primarily consists of residents and visitors to *** ********** Targeting options must be utilized to reach the appropriate audience segment.
    7. Payment for advertising services must be made in advance as per the rates and terms agreed upon with the page administrators. Failure to make payment may result in the removal of the advertisement.
    8. The page administrators are not responsible for the performance or outcomes of any advertisements placed on the page. It is the responsibility of the business to track and measure the effectiveness of their ads.
    9. Businesses are encouraged to engage with the community through the comments section of their advertisements. Prompt and professional responses to inquiries or feedback are expected.
    10. By advertising on the ******** page "What's Up New Brunswick," businesses agree to hold harmless the page administrators from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their advertisements.

These terms and conditions are subject to change at the discretion of the page administrators. Businesses will be notified of any updates to the terms and conditions.

Despite my earlier attempts to communicate with M** ******** about these terms and my dedication to resolving his concerns, my efforts have not been well-received. I have experienced rude comments and inappropriate remarks, which led me to block further communication for my well-being. However, I am willing to unblock M** ******** if he is open to communicating without attacking me verbally, as I have approached this situation with nothing but kindness.

We genuinely wish to find a resolution that ensures M** ******** feels heard while also protecting the integrity of our business.

Thank you for your help as we navigate this matter and work to restore trust and satisfaction for all parties involved.

    Sincerely,
    C*** ******

    Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:

Terms and conditions were updated after my last response. This is how this business conducts its self. This is a simple matter of the business charged me for a service then did not follow through with the service. When called out on it makes up every excuse. Then changes the narrative to best suite the outcome they want.

So again I would like a refund but will accept the fact that that will not happen but I would like an acknowledgment  that the business did not provide the service offered as advertising every 4-6 days in a every 2 day contract falls under breech of contract.
