    Atlantic windows have an issue with their sill tracks filling up with water and the water is supposed to drain out the two little peep holes on the out side of the sills. With a certain wind and rain the small peep holes cannot handle the large amount of water. I have been on record complaining about this for years. The water LEAKS through the sil of the upper window and travels to the lower window coming in the TOP of the large window below. It's very frustrating to have Atlantic window tell me it's not their problem. These windows are supposed to be leak free and it's a very poor setting have water trapped in Tracks with no where to go. I have been waiting for a resolve now for years and weeks. Tonight we have a wind and rain storm and again it's leaking. I asked Atlantic windows to come up with a solution but they never did and now I'm stock with leaking windows that are under warranty but they say it's not their problem. I'm not an engineer but they have engineers! Rather than go to small claims court on this problem I would rather Atlantic widows have their engineers come up with a DEFLECTION SIL as to deflect the water away from the tracks and to the outside of the wall as it was meant to be. However. I will go to small claims court if need be.

    Atlantic Windows would like to thank the client for escalating their concern.  Given the timing of the submitted complaint on Dec 24, key personnel required to effectively investigate this issue are unavailable due to vacation.  Therefore we respectfully ask for an extension to properly respond to this complaint.  Also, the complaint does not include any details such as a work order number and the type of window, which are critical to the investigation.  We will refer to our records to see if we have this information on file, otherwise the client will need to provide this information.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 18636032, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
