    Decem*er 15th is when I was provided the quote for $34000 for *asement Renovation (I have attached the quote provided along with the *reakdown eg- Plum*ing-$5000 , etc.)
    Plus, an addition of $2300 for a new side entrance door (included in the quote). Plus an additional $600 for moving the water tank (seen in the messages with him,as this was added as an additional charge afterwards), Plus an additional $665 for leveling the floor in the kitchen (also in the messages, as it was added later). We *elieve the last two charges of $600 and $665 should have *een part of the *asement quote *ut they claim that they were missed out. All this adds up to a total *udget of $37,565. And to make sure we were running on our *udget, it was checked every week as the money was paid to him & I have the messages for the same as well. Every time I would send money, I would send a text saying eg- $500 sent & $1214 remaining for the total amount. etc.
    Now when I have paid all the amount to my contractor with around $1000 remaining to *e sent, my contractor sends me an email on 1st March that he will need another $8,500 on top of it as they have all of a sudden ran out of money & that they cannot proceed without it. In this email he said he would complete the drywall work and the paint of the wall, *ut he has not done that either. Everything remaining was already *udgeted & is presently paid for including all his la*or charges for the entire project. 1st of march in the evening I let them know in person that I cannot afford another $8500 & was asked to pray to god for a miracle & on Tuesday(5th March) they return saying they will try to get the project done & leave again in the afternoon making excuses that they again don’t have any money on them.
    The renovation *egan on 17th Dec2023 & was supposed to take 5 weeks
