    I purchased a multisplit heatpump from EcoHeat in Quispamsis in Oct,2015. Have had many issues including 3 indoor head replacements. I was told that units were registered. They were not. I was only given a receipt with a invoice number. Needed unit ser# to be shown on invoice. Atlantic heating and cooling took over business and now they are closed. Same problem again and no one will work on units they didn't install. Should be a law that companies need to keep a reserve insured fund to cover promised service. I did eventually find a company to check my system,but there is a 4-6 week wait.

    Won't fit in my outlets. They won't honor their 30 day money back guarantee. Do not buy! Total scam.

    I had a ****** mini split installed by EcoHeat in January 2016. I was given no receipt (paid in cash). Only thing I got was writing on a piece of paper saying warranty on parts and compressor for 12 year and labour warranty for 6 years. I got some repair work done in 2020, most of which was covered by warranty. A few months ago my system broke down again. To make a long story short, I find out that none of my units are even registered and thus I have no warranty. Units are supposed to be registered by owners within 60 days of installation. This was not ever told to me. EcoHeat is out of business and who knows the status of Atlantic cooling and heating which apparently bought out EcoHeat. My work is being done now by all star heating to the tune of just under $2000. Bottom line: I got scammed by ***(EcoHeat platinum seller). Buyer beware of any heat pump installations. I am hearing they can’t find technicians to do the repair work.
