    I was shopping around looking to purchase a utility trailer. As I was going into Canadian Tire there was a utility trailer out front marked as $2999. So when I went inside to purchase this trailer they tried to hide the fact that it was marked wrong. They said I can have the one out back and I said but the trailer out front is the one I inspected for shape, condition and size. I said I will take the one out back if its the same size, condition etc. Then they said our Canadian Tire credit card (just signed up for one) couldn't be used to come back another day. I said I will use my own credit card and that's when they said it was marked wrong. The store manager wouldn't give me the price that it was marked $2999 that it was $3799. I said unacceptable. He said the only thing is to give me $300 off not $800. I bought the trailer but feel this isn't right and other people I spoke too said that Canadian Tire should have honored the advertised tag price of $2999. We spent 2 hours trying to purchase this and the run around they gave us trying to hide the fact that it was marked wrong was ridiculous.
