      If I could give zero stars, I would. CAA Insurance has proven to be the worst insurance company by far. Our swimming pool, which was supposedly covered under our policy, sustained damage last winter due to snow and ice thawing cycles. The pool company that conducted the investigation mentioned that they encounter this type of damage frequently and have never seen a claim denied—until ours.
      Despite the clear evidence, CAA denied our claim, citing “extreme weather” as the reason. The damage was indeed caused by natural weather conditions, but isn’t that precisely why we have insurance coverage for our pool? If our policy doesn’t cover such scenarios, then what’s the point of having insurance at all?

      ***** company I have ever dealt with in my life. I opened a property damage (flood) claim in July 2023. It is now October and to this day my belongings are still in my basement growing mold. I 'escalated' my claim 2 weeks ago and I still don't even know who my adjuster is. They are happy to take my payment every month but when it comes to settling a claim, save your time and call lawyer.
