    Contracted Nelson Monuments to add date of death to headstone for mothers death. This was in September 2022. My credit card was charged Sept 13 2022, As of July 19 2023 the engraving has still not been done. Have contacted them three times and get different excuses.

    Hi there,  

    Thank you for contacting us with your feedback regarding the delay in your cemetery lettering being completed. Let me begin for apologizing for the delay in this work being completed. My hope is that you have been made aware that this work has been attempted to be completed on a number of occasions however the contractor has not been able to access the cemetery as the gate has been locked each time. The contractor is that area next week and will reach out to the caretaker prior to ensure arrangements can be made so we are able to have the gate opened to can gain access to the cemetery to complete this work. We will continue to monitor this and will certainly follow up with you to confirm when the work is completed.

    You mention in your feedback that you have contacted our company three times and been given different excuses.  I do apologize for the delay in completing this work, but we do need to get into the cemetery to have access to your monument in order to perform this work.  If our team has not been forthcoming and transparent about the cause of this delay, we would certainly like to know this so we can enhance our communication moving forward.
