    I had a front windshield replaced and when some electrical components in my vehicle later stopped working, it was discovered at a dealership that the windshield had not been properly installed. It had not been sealed properly by Central Autoglass apparently, according to the dealership and the inspector the auto insurance company sent to assess the damage to the vehicle. I was told that the improperly installed windshield caused water to leak down through the vehicle causing over $13,000 worth of damages. My auto insurance is covering the cost of repairs. However, I will be stuck paying the deductible of $250 to the auto insurance due to the auto glass company’s mistake and improper installation of the glass. Not to mention the frustration I’ve been caused as my vehicle has been in the dealership for repairs for over a month and is still not complete. I wrote an email to Central Autoglass to inform them of the situation and never even got a reply let alone an apology.

    Good day, 

    We were not aware of this matter until we got a complaint email from BBB which resulted into reading ********* comment stating she emailed us but did not get a response.. we found her email in our junk folder. At our business, customer satisfaction is our top priority but it is very hard to give an apology when we weren't given the chance to rectify the problem to begin with, there was 5 months from the time the windshield was installed until she noticed any problem.  I have no problem refunding her the $150 for the deductible she paid at the time of the windshield replacement.
