    Local gas atendent put gas in my diesel truck, I drove it into town on my way back it died. When I did fuel filter check in the jungle Jim’s parking lot thats when I notice I had gasoline in my diesel truck.
    I contacted woodwards c store they towed my truck to there family owned GM/****** dealership. I asked them to do a compression test on it as I just had been tested before I moved to goosebay from Ontario. They didn’t, just got it to run fine as they described. Now it randomly dies, has excessive blow by and smoke, hard to start. When I got back in contact with them they told me that was the best they could do and offered me 500$ but that dosnt even cover a fraction of the repairs needed. So I took the truck to baytech garage, ordered the tools to have them compression tested where it was found to have had internal damage done to the engine.

    Since there are no diesel shops here locally the engine would need to be shipped out of province. Or replaced with a reman engine as the k vin diesels are supper rare.

    Total estimated cost to fix father getting 3 quota from 3 different shops/ engine suppliers 23,000.00 to 30,000.00$ Due to location shipping is expensive.

    We are continuing to communicate with the customer to reach a final resolution that is fair and just.  Most recently, October 13, we did reach out to the customer offering to have an independent appraisal of the vehicle completed.  After an inspection by the appraiser, we are prepared to pay Mr. ******** the Actual Cash Value of the vehicle in exchange for an executed Bill of Sale to us; as the purchaser of the truck
