1 starOur mini split had to be serviced four times since 2021, and now, in 2025, it has broken down again. Heat Pump Solutions wants to charge us $249.00 plus tax for a diagnosis, which, we only found out today, is not covered under warranty. One of the senior service technicians asked me "what is your problem today?".

I recently called Heat Pump Solutions to voice a complaint with the remote control and was shocked by the astronomical fees quoted to have a technician come to check it out and was told that it was company policy not to have a technician address what I view as a minor fix. When the installation took place at my residence just a short time ago I received an indication that everything would be taken care of for a period of ten years. Now it appears this company is intent on nickel & diming it customers with additional costs for no service whatsoever. I will never recommend them again.

Unfortunately your unit that you had installed was more then a short time ago. It will be 3 years on Dec. 16. Diagnostics fees are not covered by the manufacturer. However if you had of been having your unit regularly serviced this fee would not be charged. I encourage you to reach out and ask to speak with the manager. I'm certain a resolution would have been made to ensure your satisfaction. Hope to hear from you.
