    May 22/23, in Bonavista in Newfoundland. I purchased a wooden cribbage board in the shape of the Province of Newfoundland. Price was $ 22.99 + tax.
    Upon returning from our trip I noticed that there is one peg missing in two of the rows on the board, between the point pegs 45 to 50.

    I simply e-mailed IWD in late June to inform them of this error but received no response.
    I e-mailed IWD again on Jul 19, and there was no response. I then notified IWD by e-mail on July 21 that I was disappointed that they could not respond to my concern in any form. I thus thought that this cribbage board would be sold in Newfoundland the entire summer of 2023, with a major defect on the cribbage board.
    Having not made any response to my e-mail is simply poor customer service. Possibly IWD was hoping that if they ignore my e-mail attempts that the customer will just forget about the incorrect cribbage board. Poor customer service.

    At this point now I wish for a corrected Newfoundland Cribbage board, or my money returned, and have someone at IWD explain why there was no response.

    Upon receiving your initial email, we did attempt to contact you directly via email but did not receive a response. This may have contributed to the delay in resolving this matter, and I regret any inconvenience this may have caused.
    Regarding the issue with the cribbage board, it's important to clarify our standard procedure. Typically, customers would contact the store where the purchase was made for a refund or exchange, and we, as a wholesaler, would then credit back the retailer. As we do not sell directly to customers, our standard practice would not involve direct communication with end consumers.


    However, recognizing that this situation is unique, and our product was found to be defective, we are willing to take extraordinary measures to ensure your satisfaction. We are more than willing to replace the defective cribbage board with a corrected one or refund the purchase price of $22.99 + tax. Could you kindly reply with your preference for the replacement or refund, along with your shipping address if you choose the replacement? Our customer service team will be in touch with you directly to confirm the details and ensure that this matter is resolved to your satisfaction.
