    The college is a technical college I graduated with my Paralegal Business Administration Diploma in ******** ** from in 1999. There is no longer a **** ****** location.

    Last year, I began calling to ask the home office in ************ for a copy of my transcripts and of my diploma.

    I had not been advised at any time to fill out an online request, until this week, when I asked to speak to management.

    For nearly a year I was informed, by phone, that I would get a call back about the request. W***** the head of administration, asked me to fill out a form this week and I suggested we correspond via email moving forward.

    This experience has been unnecessarily delayed and difficult, considering my request for copies of graduation paperwork from the college, whom I have no outstanding debt to.

    Since filling the form/contacting Wendy directly for updates to the request on Monday, I've not yet received a response.

    I am asking for help or mediation from the BBB to achieve my goal of obtaining my transcripts and diploma asap from keyin technical college. Thanks so much.

    We are currently and have been actively looking for these records.  

    This was given to me, W**** ******* during July and I have been in contact with K***** ***** looking for more info and have responded to her emails accordingly.   Asking to send an email with info was for my records since I took over this request.   Normal procedure.  The search prior to this summer was conducted by the Administration team that looks after the files.   

    All info given has been acted upon with the hope of returning the copies to her.    This school in question was under it's own franchise at the time of M* ******* education in the program.    It has since closed and we are tracking files from that time which is the property of another owner.    

    We have tried - our archives (in case the owner sent to the ************ locations (franchise); we have tried **** ******** (location for our files for the ************ campus/franchise;  We have checked our digital files in case they were transferred to this location/franchise).    

    It was suggested by K***** ***** to search our past employee records, but all employees in Halifax were under that franchise and we do not have any employee records for that college.    

    The search continues and will update if we find the records of another franchise college, that has been closed for some time.

     I am rejecting this response because: not enough effort made to locate records of graduation. The school has the resources to submit an application through the courts to gain access to the N****** ****, et al. vs Keyin Technical College case, in order to see who ran the college at that time before it was bankrupt by the lawsuit. Names of individuals responsible for the college within the records can then be contacted to ascertain what happened to graduate certification. At any rate, I'm not satisfied that I have no record of my transcripts or diploma from this college, even though I graduated with my diploma and have no outstanding balance owing to the college. Any advice is welcome. Thank you.
