In 2021 We placed order for cabinets/ counters / flooring and showers 8-9 mths in advance of home being completed,, we were told we had lots of time . after many trips to the store to select materials etc, when we went to move , they had forgotten our order,,after saying that all would be good- we ended up going into a hotel for 3 months ,, floors were placed then incorrectly , problem is ongoing ,, still not right in 2023/ 07 very unsympathetic…to our situation…R.M.

The client's flooring was not forgotten, we had it here for months waiting for the contractor to give us the go ahead to deliver it. Flooring was delivered on April 27, 2023 when it was requested by the contractor. Flooring was installed without issue and the customer was quite happy. Flooring was installed as per manufacturer's standards. The customer was in their home for 6 months without any issue with the flooring. Customer had in-floor heating installed by the contractor's vendor and it was only when they turned on the in-floor heat 6 months after they had moved in was there an issue. The customer should have been told by the contractor/heating installation that when you first turn on the heat it's 1 degree per day and by the customer's own admission, the customer turned it on 24 degrees right away. This is why they had an issue with the flooring. As a goodwill gesture we have gone in there at least 5 times and replaced flooring that had nothing to do with the installation.
