      My car was towed to Kia on July 28th, 2023 at 9:00am because it wouldn’t start. I called Kia about it and they advised they couldn’t even look at it until August 9th with a “possibility” it could be looked at sooner. I asked if I could get a loaner vehicle and was told no because they don’t know what’s wrong with it. I called again after doing my own research and told them what I thought it was, which was a simple fix and was told again that it couldn’t be looked at or I wasn’t entitled to a loaner until they know what is wrong with it. August 3rd I called and asked to speak to a manager, who was away on vacation until today, august 7th. I left him another voicemail explaining I’m currently still without transportation. No rely. No one has even looked at my vehicle. The car is still covered under warranty and there is currently only 57000kms. All I want is a vehicle to drive in the meantime. I’m currently getting taxis and having my groceries delivered (which is expensive). I’m having to take time off work. I can’t bring my son to any of his soccer practices because of this. I would like my car looked at immediately or a rental vehicle provided.

      Good Day,

      In follow up to the complaint submitted by ****** *****.

      The Service Manager did get the message from ****** when he returned to the office. He asked a Service Advisor to contact and let her know they will try to get it in the shop right away. At the time, there were no service loaners available. All necessary repairs were completed under the Kia limited warranty yesterday August 7th and ****** then picked up her car.

      There may have been some misinterpretation of the appointment delay; any service customers that drop-in outside of appointments we do try to fit in as time allows, however it's not always possible to fit them all in on the same day. We also only have a limited amount of loaners and unfortunately they were all loaned out at that time. We did get her vehicle looked at as quickly as we could given the pre-booked appointments and we do sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
