This is an issue I’ve had in regards to an recent issue put forward and was being discussed with the management side of things over in the ************ ****** with a (manager) and “other managers as i was told from this individual himself “
choosing a poor approach with words , zero compassion , help or even effort in trying to resolve or look for any sort of help with a customer.
And then was even told “oh who knows what the drivers habits were anyways and we wont look after anything that’s it “ how can you judge a person in saying that or discriminating someone they have no idea about.

Not a professional way to approach things or this statement “ well it’s a second hand truck anyways “ .
poor attitude to say after spending near 90 k ! well why offer added warranty on your vehicles but this “second hand” truck was bought in June 2024 still only just over 2 years old from date purchased by the previous owner.
At a (second hand )sticker price of nearly 90 k once all was done I even purchased the extended / extra warranty whatever was possibly offered to purchase at the time as this would look after everything as I was told except brakes and rotors the regular wear and tear items ….. but there’s another exception as I had a service done recently & was told “you have 2 rear fox float shocks gone”.

which the service was done in ***** ***** and they were the most professional to deal with who even currently is trying to do something about the situation.
Also was told this week that this is a known problem “but not recalled “ or disclosed prior to purchase that will cost 4239.00 minus labour and installed and may i add these shocks were gone at the time of purchase as I heard this noise and just thought it was hitch making the noise until I took it out 5-6 weeks again and kept hearing the same noise since dat one so I made the appointment.
but that was another thing that was disregarded when I asked & was put back on the customer again when I put it forward .

    Business Response

    Hello,

I am out of the office for medical reasons but will do my best to respond to this inquiry. I have absolutely no knowledge of M** **** ever being spoken to that way from anyone in one of my locations since he purchased his vehicle. I have reviewed the inspection report performed on this vehicle that was performed during the reconditioning process and there were no issues with any of the shocks on the vehicle. The warranty on **** vehicles is provided by **** ***** ******* and like many warranty’s there are exclusions. In this case it appears shocks are one of them. We as a dealer have no control of this. M** **** had this vehicle for weeks prior to saying the shocks failed but outside our timeframe for being responsible for any repairs. If you have any further questions in this matter please feel free to contact me. Thanks you

I am rejecting this response because:

I will not accept this as there was nothing for a resolution whatsoever and I will not settle. I have reached out to ** ****** as well and I have consulted with **** ****** on the poor services ,poor customer experience and disrespect received from the manager in ************ (J***) and the over looked / faulty inspection that was done on this truck .

i recently just had to purchase these shocks from **** here in *** who have been superb to deal with .

this was a poor inspection and poor workmanship done by Humber ford or ************ where ever it was done. The noise was there when I bought it and I just assumed it was my hitch until I took my hitch out .

also when they installed these new shocks the sensors were corroded in and it cost an extra $430 each, along with finding a hole / leaking muffler on the truck which is going to cost $1600 dollars ?????????? Which none of these 2 items should even be happening on a truck that was purchased in June !!!!!!!  Back to the inspection, how does this not be found? oh wait, is it because it was summer time and you wouldn’t see condensation from the leak as bad as you would in the fall season now ???

this is not good enough . I’ve never had to resort to thus or anything similar but I will if I have to just for the fact that they took the money and would not even help or look for a resolution to try and help me which could possibly of been another Client for several vehicles as I am a business owner .
