    My mother purchased a gift card for laser hair removal from Enlighten Laser in Bedford on November 17 as they were running a promotional offer at the time. The transaction was completed over the phone, and the company assured my mother that they didn't need to provide her any proof of the purchase as they would keep the information in their system. However, my attempts to schedule an appointment using the gift card this month have proven to be incredibly frustrating.

    I have made at least six phone calls to the business, left two voicemail messages with out any response. They did respond when I finally decided to email them and they told me it was very strange that I couldn't get through on the phone as business was as usual. However, when I tried to confirm an appointment there was no response on their part, even after I sent several follow up emails. In a last-ditch effort, I personally visited the business in Bedford to schedule an appointment in person, only to find the premises dark and the door locked, despite being there during their posted business hours.

    This entire experience has raised serious concerns that Enlighten Laser may be facing financial difficulties, leading me to suspect a potential scam where they lure in clients with promotions, only to disappear shortly after pocketing the money.

    I am reaching out to inquire if the Better Business Bureau can intervene in addressing this matter and if there is any possibility of seeking a refund for the services that were prepaid. Your prompt attention and assistance in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
