  Hello , to whom it may concern , My name is ***** ****** , I got an appointment at Scotia tire Bedford Nova Scotia in June 6 to change my old tires to new tires , I had gone to India for family issues for four weeks , On my return I notice my passages side tire was deflated , didn’t think of much , took my wife car to work and didn’t get a chance to get back to deflated tire for 2018 Mercedes c43 Amg , I got back to tire a week later went to local my Lube to look at the tire . They said my rim is cracked and it’s leaking air ,unoon my continuous request they agree to patch the rim so I could go to work and continue my daily chores , I went to the location that had changed my tires , I went in July 21 2023 they were very rude and didn’t agree with me that they didn’t cracked the rim I haven’t gone to any tire place in last two years except them as the last two winters I have been spending in India …. No one has touched my tires n rims , the manager there name Tom told me the owner will call me in few days , it’s been a week no one has called I would like to get soem kind of answer from them they ahve replace the rim Please help me thanking you Your sincerely ***** ******

  Hello Mr. ******,

  Thank you for your message. We certainly apologize for any misunderstandings. This issue was brought to our head office, we were unaware that the final conclusion and decision was not passed on to you, for that we are sorry.

  The damage that you are showing on the rim is definitely not from the result of having a tire changed. It is impossible to crack a rim using our tire changer. The rim could on a remote possibility be scratched, however it can not be cracked. The pressure exerted on the rim is very light. The damage you are showing is the result of an impact from hitting one of the potholes in the city most likely, or an abrupt side impact from hitting a curb or we see it occur due to a rims age. Your vehicle is not that old, so that would most likely exclude age, the tire changer machine can not do this type of damage because the force it exerts is so minimal and the amount of contact it has with the rims is so minimal that cracking it is simply impossible. Therefore, the only way for this to occur was due to an impact of some sort.

  We will not be replacing a rim for a reason that is beyond our ability to break.
