      STAY CLEAR
      This company withdrew over $700 from my bank account without authorization.
      They admitted the error but said it would take 90 days to send a cheque by mail!
      Dreadful communications and poor business practices.

      I am insured through this broker for Unifund insurance.
      I have to say that this is one of the worst companies when it come to giving you back a reimbursement. I have to wait for almost 2 months in order to receive my cheque. 4 to 6 weeks for them to send my cheque, plus mailing time 7 to 10 business days to receive it! But when it comes to them taking your money if somehow you miss a payment and you do not make the payment asap your insurance is closed and they will report you. How shameful of this company to keep our money for 6 weeks before they mail out the cheque!! ***** on you!

      I got into an accident two months ago and the repairs haven't even started! I feel like I'll have more luck chasing down Bigfoot than my adjustor, who's been dodging every call and email I've sent them. My car is stuck in limbo and I have no-one to talk to. I recommend going with a different car insurance. Turns out getting a good deal can backfire.

      They like to close your account without telling you. When you call them to try to get help, they give you additude and don't help. They will not try to help.

      Initiated a claim through ****** Insurance (*******) August 15, 2022 for a travel trailer. Endured over 3 months of getting the runaround and no answers from the adjuster. Was actually told over the phone to proceed with repairs, despite them not sending anyone to assess the damage.
      Was also promised they would pay for fees associated with keeping the trailer at the repair facility all fall and winter, then claim was assigned to a new adjuster.
      After 7 months and one week elapsed, was advised that the claim was denied. Waited 29 weeks to be advised that the claim is declined! Awful.

      Johnsons insurance loves to take your money every year but when it's time for them to help you you're on your own. My truck was stolen and recovered and johnsons insurance(unifund) refused to help me unless the police had a suspect which is almost impossible in this case due to it being abandoned in a parking lot. When I set up my insurance I asked for plpd fire and theft and now found out that the theft is only covered if I had comprehensive on a 5000 dollar truck or the police have a suspect.
      If you need insurance get anybody but this company and save yourself some stress and heartache.

      Johnson Unifund Insurance is the worst company for customer service I have ever dealt with. Do not even consider hiring them for your insurance protection. The communication and correspondence takes months; their agents were slow to act and check in with me after storm damage; they left my house prone to a potential electrical hazard which I expressed to them was a concern, and there was no follow up; then, they arbitrarily decided to no renew my insurance policy without any explanation by mail. After months of waiting on the insurance followup from the storm, from my claim, the sent me a letter stating that due to the infux of claims, they were overwhelmed, and would have to outsource my claim handling to another company. WORST insurance company ever. Total garbage.
