I made an appt with the Snore Shop, then changed my mind. Since then, the company has phoned, emailed and texted me until I feel persecuted. If I wanted to rebook, I would. Since I don't, leave me alone. What kind of business tactic is this? Not one I appreciate.

On 21/07/09 I registered with ******* on a recall list of CPAP machines because there was a health concern with them ( purchased from The Snore Shop in Truro NS ) to which mine is on that list. I have been in contact with the Snore Shop several times and I feel that I am given the run around. My brother also has a CPAP from another health server and he has had his replaced within a year of his registering his. I have complained about having a headache ever since I started using this CPAP machine also I need this for my breathing at night ( as I cannot sleep without it). Thank you for your time **** *******

      Hi,

We are currently working through the list of patients to be remediated through the ******* recall.  We have been contacting patients in order of the date they registered their machines.  We have moved this patient to the top and will get her machine remediated.

2 1/2 hrs. Ago I received a letter through the Snore Shop telling me that ******* Canada were recalling my Cpap machine for health reasons and that I was to stop using it. They gave me a number and said I would be hearing updates. All this time has passed and I have heard nothing from******* besides the initial letter. The Snore Shop set up a telephone line for you to call in to get info but you must leave your number and they will return your call the next day. I called in March and they told me nothing had changed in the two years and they had no new info. I have gone all this time without a Cpap machine and it is affecting my health. Personnel never offered any suggestions as to what I could do in the meantime. I bought the machine from the Snore Shop not *******. I thought they could at least offer me a machine to use as my insurance will only cover one every 5 years. The personal are even tardy returning calls. I feel like I’m just banging my head against the wall. All I want is some answers. 1) How long do I have to wait to get some answers from *******? 2) will they replace my machine or give me a pay out? 3) what can I do in the meantime to treat my condition that isn’t going to cost me a fortune? I need this machine in order to sleep and breath properly. They are totally uninterested when I get their ear. Time is marching on and this situation is ridiculous. I feel I bought and paid for their services and have received nothing in return.
