Interaction began in August of 2023. I sent payment in full for work to be done on my motorcycle. Signed contract stated 3-4 months of work to complete project and a list of parts that would be utilized/needed. After a year of back and forth I asked for my motorcycle back as the owner was unresponsive to communication unless I reached out repeatedly and there was no movement on completing the project for months. I feared that, the owner cashed my check and ran and will not return my bike. I did threaten to take ***** ****** at this point and I offered to pay shipping cost to get my motorcycle back and started to move forward with scheduling transportation of my unfinished motorcycle. At this point the owner had been stating for 3 months that there was only a few shop hours left guesstimating about 2 to 3 hours and continuing to be unresponsive after that. The owner proceeded to be dismissive and claimed the motorcycle will not be completed due to my threat of ******** ***** ****** *** ************. The unfinished motorcycle was delivered last month (September 2024). I am having the remainder of the work completed by a local shop, but cannot move forward as I do not have the parts I paid for. At a quick glance this is close to $3,000 in parts, maybe more. When asked about the delivery of my parts, I was told that order of my parts will be done in the beginning of October of 2024 as funds were low. I have asked them to get shipped directly to me and asked for a general timeline and I received " I will order the parts. There is lots of time before spring", " I will not put a timeline on overseas orders of parts". The company has been unresponsive for weeks on end throughout this entire process. All I am asking is for the delivery of the parts that I paid for as I have paid close to $16,000 for parts and work to be done and the bike is still incomplete. The owner has claimed financial trouble and that he will let me know when he orders and receives the parts.
