Well, to start, they are fast but careless, marking up walls, stair risers, forcing furniture through door casings, dragging furniture across rough surfaces causing damage. Took light fixture off the ceiling to move a sofa and didn't replace it. The come back is that they'll get it fixed but there's no resolution. Would I use them again... NO! If you're looking for cheap and fast with little regard of professionalism, they're the go to.

Hi Dwight Thanks for your feedback. I do apologize for the negative experience. Please note we still consider after-order resolution in progress as of July 31, 2024. To quickly recap your order: Customer booked a three-labor crew to start at 10AM on July 12, 2024. The scope of work was to move mostly furniture and larger items from a three-level house in Hammonds Plains, NS to another three-level house in Noel, NS. In April 2024, we performed on-site survey at customer move-out location. Estimated labor time was between 4 to 6 labor hours for a three-men crew. Customer chose basic coverage under Released Value Transportation, with maximum compensation at CAD$ 0.6 / LB under total-loss for all items. Customer accepted our liability terms which was sent with estimate. Maximum cargo value was set at CAD$ 2,500 at total loss. On July 12, 2024, crew arrived at customer location at 10AM as per scheduled. Crew completed customer’s move at 330PM the same day. Total billing time is at 5.5 hours plus traffic time back to our base. Total amount billed aligns with the estimated price range communicated. Customer instructed to conduct this move as safe and efficient as possible to save on cost. Crew proceeded under our Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) to move non-fragile items onto truck and cover them with blankets then. Under the same SOP, all fragile items with glass, mirror and screens were wrapped with blankets before loaded into truck. It is against Panda Moving’s SOP for crew to drag items through floor. All items must be carried by crew without touch any flooring, stairs, doorstep or any other ground. For Dwight’s items in particular, all furniture items were wooden or with wooden legs. Crew did not drag any items across the floor as it would only made the operation more difficult. While crew were on-site, two minor damages were reported by customer and crew. We communicated with customer immediately with onsite crew and customer service team. a) A continuous piece of wood at the length of ~30CM/12IN fell off from the right back corner of the top part of a display cabinet. a. Reason of this damage is still under investigation. A piece of wood fell off from the body of item while crew walking down a straight flight of stairs at move-out location. No collision occurred at the moment. b. This damage is not eligible for total-loss coverage. c. This damage is not eligible for cargo liability, but Panda Moving offered to consult restoration partner for resolution. d. After assessing the situation, Panda Moving offered on-site restoration solution with wood filler or wood glue. Customer rejected restoration solution. b) A peeling mark of 1*1IN at the centre of the left pillar on headboard of a bedframe. a. After assessing the damage, Panda Moving determines this damage is not caused by crew operation. b. This damage is not eligible for total-loss coverage. c. This damage is not eligible for cargo liability. d. Before crew left scene, Panda Moving communicated with the customer that this damage was not caused by operation and will not be eligible for compensation. Since customer chose to conduct the move under basic coverage, please note both damages reported by customer were considered as minor damage that does not affect the main function of the items. No other damage was noted by crew or customer before crew left scene. A part of Panda Moving’s SOP is to always confirm on damages before bill is collected. On July 12, 2024, immediately after damages took place, while crew were operating, Panda Moving connected with our restoration partners for consultation. In the next two (2) weeks, Panda Moving has received multiple responses, which all indicated to use wood filter or wood glue to reattach the fallen piece. Since customer already rejected the same solution proposed by on-site team, Panda Moving reached out to more restoration professionals for alternative solution. On July 24, 2024, customer reached out to Panda Moving for update. Panda Moving informed customer on the responses received, which was rejected by the customer again. Customer then demanded compensation with the claim of item value at CAD$ 4,500. No compensation value were proposed by Panda Moving. To understand the acceptable method of restoration, Panda Moving requested information from customer on July 24, 2024, during the same conversation, but did not receive a response from customer. As per stated in Panda Moving’s last message, with these original words: “Sorry I am not an expert in woodworking or restoration. Just trying to communicate the right information to the right people, so I can present a solution.” Customer also claimed more damages that were not communicated. Panda Moving requested to have more details on these damages, but did not receive a response. As of July 31, 2024, no further response was received from customer. Please note that our liability and service terms were stated 100% transparent and clear from the first communication. The same information was published on our website on an easy-to-find page, and highlighted on our estimate document sent. As per continuously communicated, we are willing to continue working with the customer on a fair resolution. Damages do take place from time to time, and we usually have no problem taking extra responsibility for customer satisfaction. We have tried our best to provide solutions to Dwight, but unfortunately no common ground can be found at this point. Regards *******
