Summer & fall 2019, we did a major renovation to our uninsulated cottage so that we could move in and live in it year round. Part of this involved the installation of a hot and cold water tap on the outside so that we could set thing up for showering outdoors. The tap installed is the WOODFORD Model H22.
After reno was completed, Dec 2019, we also got all the necessary equipment from Culligan to treat our water. Then during summer 2020, the cold water handle on the tap became harder and harder to operate up to the point that my wife could no longer turn it on or off. After contacting Dayspring electric and plumbing several times, their plumber Eugene finally came in summer 2021 with a totally different model which he stripped from internal parts and installed on ours. The taps was better to use then but still somewhat stiff to operate and only got harder and harder since. The tap can only turn 1/8 of a turn now. I have been in touch with ******* ****** and also ******* & ******* Home Builders (they subcontract all electrical and plumbing to Dayspring E & P) many time but to no avail. Eugene mentioned to me once that the newer model H22 has somewhat changed but as far as I am concerned, they provided me this tap and they should change it completely if that what is needed. In 2019, this tap was taken from inside his truck to show me what he already had and I told him this was perfect for our intended use. How long the tap had been sitting in the truck as part of their own inventory, I have no idea, and again, this should not be my problem.
Further to desired solutions below, the replacement will trigger the disconnection of our indoor utility sink so we can move the washer/drier unit out of the way so we can access the inner waterline connectors.

    Morning,

I have order a new faucet for the outside tap, as the manufacturer cannot supplier the replacement parts due to covid 19, they say it is a supply issue, we have been trying to get this part ever since ****** mention to use in 2020, this new outside tap was ordered first week of July from EMCO in Bridgewater NS. I also sent a email to ****** e-mail that I order the new set of taps, ****** did not say anything to me about sending a complaint to the BBB. ****** did send back 2- emails that he would be away, I did mention in the e-mail it would take app. 3-weeks to get the new set of taps. when they arrive I would be in touch to replace.

    Thanks

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 17554040, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.   However, I was in EMCO last summer after Eugene (plumber) came by with the wrong parts. Told them about my dilemma and they showed me one of the
bottom shelf in the store filled with the same model we have. . .

    thanks
